Hate nobody

About This Quote

Don’t hate anybody. Ancient Greek philosopher Socrates taught that hatred was a waste of time and energy, and Ancient Greek poet Homer agreed, writing “Hate nobody, nor fault anyone.” The idea was that we should focus our attention on doing what makes us happy and that by not hating others we could avoid falling into the same trap ourselves.
